Volunteering

Each year, our Kyo-ya ‘Ohana contribute more than 4,000 hours of service to dozens of organizations—and many go further by serving on nonprofit and civic boards across the islands. These volunteer efforts range from beach cleanups and reading to children, to mentoring students as they prepare for job interviews and beyond.

Learning Opportunities for Guests

We provide opportunities for guests to experience and appreciate the rich culture and unique environment of the communities we serve, deepening their connection to land and its people.

Nonprofit Partnerships

Kyo-ya Hotels is proud to maintain long term, organization-wide partnerships with respected institutions such as Make-A-Wish Hawaii, Bishop Museum, the Historic Hawai‘i Foundation, Palama Settlement, and the University of Hawai‘i. In addition, we support annual fundraising efforts for Aloha United Way, the Hawai‘i Lodging & Tourism Association’s Visitor Industry Charity Walk, and the Children’s Miracle Network—helping to drive real change throughout our communities.
