Fresh, local food is at the heart of our commitment to our guests and the environment. All our hotels seek out ingredients from local purveyors – to delight visitors and offer them a direct connection to our communities.

For decades, the four hotels in our Waikiki Collection have been leaders in sourcing local and sustainable ingredients.
Here is some of what we’ve achieved:

To complete the circle, we send food waste from our kitchens back to local farms for use as animal feed and provide our spent cooking oil for making renewable fuel.

Amenities Re-imagined

Kyo-ya hotels provide our guests with luxurious amenities that offer the comforts of home, while supporting local businesses and respecting the environment.

Malie residential amenity dispensers

All Kyo-ya hotels have replaced single-use plastic bottles with residential style amenities in guestroom showers to reduce waste.
