A Brighter Future For Our Communities

The Kyo-ya Hotels Foundation is committed to nurturing the land, people and culture in our communities. We make grants to nonprofits that share our values and volunteer to make a positive impact in our communities.

Established in 2024, the Foundation continues a Kyo-ya tradition of charitable giving that started more than 60 years ago.

Our Legacy, Our Future

Kyo-ya Hotels is a family-owned company, with a tradition of stewardship of historic hotels in Hawai‘i and San Francisco. The Kyo-ya ‘Ohana includes our employees – many of whom have been with us for decades. We collaborate on volunteer efforts that improve our environment, educate and mentor youth, and support community needs. The foundation also awards grants to local nonprofits that support social services, the environment, youth sports, science, education, and the arts.
