Our Commitment to Sustainability

At Kyo-ya Hotels, our mission includes stewardship of the land. As a family business, we take the long view – working every day to ensure we contribute to a better environment for all.

Moana Surfrider, Waikiki’s first hotel, is home to an iconic banyan tree, planted in 1904. For more than a century, it has sheltered birds, animals, and guests – serving as a majestic reminder of our values and our responsibilities.
